Here at SkinWit, we create our Collections based on the following philosophy:
Seasonality (FALL/WINTER and SPRING /SUMMER)
Climate is one of the most influential factors when it comes to your skin.
Every seasonal change impacts your skin in a myriad of ways, and your skincare routine should be there for you year-round. When it gets extremely cold or very dry, the lack of natural moisture can lead to skin drying out too harshly and quickly. And on the other hand, extreme heat and exposure to sunlight can make the top layers of your skin lose moisture which eventually leads to sunburn, inflammation, and even DNA damage.
That’s why our collections are created with the environment in mind, incorporating antioxidants in the summer to protect your skin against UV-Radiation and more hydrating ingredients to keep your skin looking youthful in the winter.
Ethnicity (Afro-descendant, Caucasian, Latin, East Asian, South Asian, Japanese)
Not all skins are created equal; here are some of the most common skin differences by ethnicities are in:

Each of these factors needs to be approached with specific ingredients and percentages, so we’ve created collections targeting your skin’s needs.
Age Range: (35-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)
Skin changes with age, and for women, this is especially important when it comes to hormones and how they impact their skincare needs.
Our innate genetic material dictates how our skin interacts with the environment, our sensitivities, and our reactions to stressors. Estrogen is a key player here, with hormonal changes, and the approach of menopause skin takes a hard hit that can’t be counteracted by using the same skincare routine that had worked before.
Starting in our 20s, the genetic markers for pathways and metabolism start to change. The decline in some functions like energy storage and skin barrier production becomes more imminent as we grow older, changing the needs of skin entirely. Our skincare line takes these changes into account and balances the ingredients needed in each stage.
Lifestyle (in the name of the collection, products will be personalized according to the emotional state you want to be in (examples: Resilient, Heroic, Real, Kind, etc.)
Low-quality sleep negatively affects the skin around our face. Every time stress and poor sleep become part of our lives, our epidermal permeability barrier reduces its function, our skin becomes vulnerable, weak and we experience its first sign… dehydration.
We want YOUR skincare line to make you feel like your true self and empower you to live freely in your skin. That’s why it not only changes with the seasons but also allows you to personalize your bottles with affirmation words.
Transparency: Our paramount guideline
Transparency means our purpose is to provide the safest and most effective products ever. Product-Safety does not mean “including all the latest claims people see in the industry.” It’s very easy to mask unwanted preservatives by adding them in natural extracts and not disclose what is really in a formulation. We are also against the practice of adding very high-tech and expensive ingredients in such a minimum quantity that they don’t deliver any benefit other than to the marketing campaign.
We will disclose all our ingredients and carry the promise of the highest skin health anti-age efficacy for skin not to look young but perform young since the skin is our first line of defense.
